Tiamat is an ancient Mesopotamian deity from Babylonian mythology, often depicted as a primordial goddess of chaos and the personification of the saltwater ocean. In the mythological narrative known as the Enuma Elish, Tiamat plays a central role as the antagonist who is ultimately defeated by the god Marduk, resulting in the creation of the world. One could draw symbolic connections between Tiamat and crystals. Tiamat's chaotic nature, representing the primordial forces of creation and destruction, can be seen as mirroring the transformative and powerful energies associated with crystals.
