Sapphire

Sapphires are a popular variety of Corundum (Aluminum Oxide) found in 15 colors. They’ve been used since 1,000 B.C. for protection, powers, luck, charisma, and prosperity.

Sapphire meaning is deep blue, from the Latin “sapphirus,” Greek “sappheiros,” and Hebrew “sappir.” In Sanskrit, Sapphires were called “Sanipriya” (favorite of Saturn).
